Every home we design is a portrait of the people who will live in it.
We don't work in a single style. We don't have a signature look we impose on every project. What we have is a process — collaborative, detail-driven, and builder-aware — that results in homes that genuinely fit the people who come to us.
Osmosis Architecture is a residential architecture firm based in Niwot, Colorado. For over 30 years we've been designing custom homes, remodels, additions, and builder product series across Boulder County and the broader Front Range — from Louisville and Lafayette to Longmont, Erie, and beyond.

Custom homes — From first sketch to construction documents, we design homes from the ground up that reflect your life, your site, and your budget. No two are alike.
Remodels and additions — Whether you're reconfiguring a floor plan that no longer works or adding square footage to grow into, we help you get more from a home you already love.
Builder product design — We partner with production homebuilders to develop plan series that balance market appeal, cost efficiency, and design quality at scale. We've worked with builders across the Denver metro and Northern Colorado for decades.
Mixed-use and multi-family — From infill townhomes to mixed-use developments, we bring the same design discipline to projects that serve multiple owners or tenants.
Based in Niwot. Rooted in Boulder County.
Our office is on 2nd Avenue in Niwot, a short drive from most of the communities we serve. We're familiar with Boulder County's permitting processes, design review requirements, and the particular character of its neighborhoods — that local knowledge saves our clients time and headaches.
We're also active in the Niwot community itself. Pro bono work on the Niwot Monument, Whistlestop Park, and local youth sports facilities has been part of how we've given back to the place we work and live.

Osmosis Architecture was founded in 1994 by Anne Postle, whose three decades of work in residential design established the firm's reputation across Colorado and beyond. Today the firm is led by Principal and Architect Tucker Huey and Senior Designer Jennifer Nusz, who together bring deep expertise to both custom residential and builder product work — and a shared commitment to designs that are as buildable as they are beautiful.
